Designing with Plants and Flowers: A 3-day Course with This Humid House

This summer, we are thrilled to host our signature course in Singapore and Paris! Experience our studio’s approach to designing with plants and flowers in two radically different contexts that explore materials particular to each location’s climate and geography. 

Join us at the stunning studio spaces of Artefact Paris—designed by the workshops of Gustav Eiffel—for an intensive three-day programme that includes a field trip, demonstrations, topical mini-lectures, and individual and group creative-making sessions that conclude with a review. This Humid House comprises a team of designers, and the learning experience is informed by the richness of different perspectives, all with the intention of giving participants insight into creating products with a compelling point of view. The course culminates in an experiential cocktail-hour experience styled by course participants in collaboration with experimental patissier, Andrea Sham (@andrea.sham).

This course is particularly suited for creatives. We incorporate design language in our teaching, and our exercises progress from small arrangements to editorial larger-scale installations, all designed to simulate real-life scenarios from clients. We warmly welcome participants at all levels of experience in floristry.

Course fees include transport between venues during the programme, lunch and refreshments for all three days, and cocktail hour on the third day. All relevant tools and materials will be provided.
